Talking ex-museum Porsche 917 starts after 30 years

One of the greatest ever racing cars is the Porsche 917

This car (known as 917-012/021) was built up by David Piper then raced a little before sitting in a museum for thirty years

The new owner entrusted it to US specialist Gunnar Racing to check out

So they turned it on & fired it up (fingers in ears)

Then let it warm up a little - you can hear how much smoother it is

Which leaves only one thing to do

How many offences were they committing ?

Note the number plate wired on for that added hint of street-legal
